Poems For The Week Of Tiferet
Chesed she b’Tiferet: Be The Holy
Find where absence is
closest step into the sea
of breath of beauty
Gevurah she b’Tiferet
When I flow over
the shore silver fish beauty’s
eyes call me homeward
Tiferet she b’Tiferet
we are beauty born
through lilac fallen blossoms
breath breathing breath sighs
Netzach she b'Tiferet #1
Abundance our first
teacher wherever the milk
flows from we arrive
Netzach she b’Tiferet. #2
justice compassion
breathe through us beauty
aching to become
Hod she b’ Tiferet
I drift on beauty’s
waters, delight my sail map
my song cup of joy
A Recipe A Meditation For Yesod She B’’tiferet For
Yes
breathe me
sing me
through bones and muscles
hollows and bowls
in this spinning clay moment
aspiration inspiration,
orchestration
tuned and tuning
a single instrument
mine yours a harp
played by the
fingers of wind
whirled and woven through
the sighing bodies
first and last breaths
in pain and joy
intimate distant
We who live between
the yearning of the lower waters
for the upper are the
prayers of the revealed the concealed
in rot and blossom ignorance
and fleeting delicious
knowing each of us
an intentional planting
and also all that falls
arriving from bird
and distant mountain
field and forest.
We who are
the over flow the empty
offer our voices
discordant harmonizing
each of us a nigun
sung by beauty
owning crafting
our rising our falling
we who never end
who are wandering off
leaving our names for
invocation for compassion
for justice
which might look like lilac apple
sound and fall like spring rain
meeting the hungry
seed by seed
This feels like breathing. There is an in and out quality to it. Water, milk, breath, wind, the journey, the arrival.
Thank you!
